GO Box is a new way to conveniently and safely reduce the waste associated with single-use, disposable to-go containers.

If you are a food cart customer, you’ve probably considered the problem of disposable containers associated with your to-go lunch. In fact, the food carts in downtown Portland use roughly 60,000 disposable containers every month – a small truckload! Nearly all end up in the landfill. Even the compostable ones.*
GO Box uses containers made of BPA-free, dishwasher-safe #5 plastic and will be recycled at the end of their life.
You can eat your lunch and love the planet too! See FAQs for more information on how to use GO Box.
* What if my disposable containers are compostable you ask? They work okay when they’re actually composted, but when put in the trash, they break down creating methane gas, a greenhouse gas — 20 times more potent than carbon dioxide –that contributes to global warming.
